Mission

Sound designed to bring a sense of calm

Founded in 2014, NTM Sound is committed to creating and facilitating transformative experiences, treatments, and recordings through the medium of sound. Over the past 11 years, NTM Sound has been instrumental in expanding awareness of sound meditation and sound therapy. The studio has developed immersive treatments and recordings for wellness brands, apps, and physical spaces; facilitated in-person and virtual sound baths and meditations; led corporate wellness seminars for global companies; and provided one-on-one instruction and mentorship in the field of sound therapy.

NTM Sound utilizes a range of elements for site specific installations to provide a dynamic meditative experience transporting each listener from their daily activities to a space of reflection and calm. These elements include: field recordings, nature sounds, psychoacoustic techniques, acoustic instruments, synthesized and designed sounds and everything in between filtered through a thorough knowledge of sound therapy and a decade of experience as a meditation practitioner.

The sound design elements and functional compositions are created at Awave Sound Lab, Martinez’s recording studio based in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
