Founded in 2014 by Nate Martinez, NTM Sound creates sound baths, sound therapy sessions, meditation recordings, corporate wellness experiences, and site-specific sound design rooted in deep listening, mindfulness, and a sense of calm. Over the past 12 years, NTM Sound has been instrumental in expanding awareness of sound meditation and sound therapy. The studio has developed immersive treatments and recordings for wellness brands, apps, and physical spaces; facilitated in-person and virtual sound baths and meditations; led corporate wellness seminars for global companies; and provided one-on-one instruction and mentorship in the field of sound therapy.

NTM Sound uses a range of elements for site-specific installations, creating dynamic meditative experiences that guide listeners from daily activity into a space of reflection and calm. These elements include: field recordings, nature sounds, psychoacoustic techniques, acoustic instruments, synthesized and designed sounds, and everything in between filtered through a thorough knowledge of sound therapy and a decade of experience as a meditation practitioner.

The sound design elements and functional compositions are created at Awave Sound Lab, Martinez’s recording studio based in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
