Binaural Beats Series
The Binaural Beats Series is a collection of four headphone-focused sound meditation recordings created to support focus, calm awareness, deep relaxation, and rest.
Each track is built around a different brainwave state — Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta — using binaural beats, isochronic tones, field recordings, acoustic instruments, synthesis, and spatial processing.
How To Listen
Headphones are recommended for the most focused listening experience. Binaural beats rely on slightly different frequencies being presented to each ear, which is most effective in a controlled listening environment. The recordings can also be played through speakers, where they may still offer a soothing ambient quality.
Brainwave States
This series incorporates binaural beats which focus on the four main brainwave states:
BetA
Beta brainwaves are often associated with waking consciousness, active attention, logical thinking, and problem-solving.
Alpha
Alpha brainwaves are often associated with calm alertness, creativity, learning, and a relaxed but present state of awareness.
Theta
Theta brainwaves are often associated with daydreaming, inward attention, intuitive states, and deep relaxation.
Delta
Delta brainwaves are often associated with deep sleep, very slow states of rest, and unconscious processing.
Each recording uses psychoacoustic elements including binaural beats, isochronic tones, bilateral panning, filtering, spatial effects, and entrainment techniques to help listeners settle in, focus attention, and tune into the present moment. The sounds may come from field recordings, acoustic instruments, synthesis, or manipulated and deconstructed recordings that reflect the natural world.
With focused listening and breath awareness, these recordings can offer a temporary space away from everyday stress, obligations, and mental noise. Many listeners may feel calmer, more settled, or more aware after listening.
