Mindful Tones is a collection of 12 short recordings created as gentle alarm sounds for mobile devices. Each tone is designed to replace a harsh default alarm with a softer, more intentional way to begin the day.
The tones are 10–30 seconds long and can loop automatically when used as an alarm sound on your device. Each one incorporates acoustic instruments, synthesis, field recordings, or natural textures to create a calmer transition from sleep into waking life.
How to Use Mindful Tones
Download the tones and add them to your mobile device as custom alarm sounds. Choose the tone that feels most supportive for the way you want to wake up — soft, bright, spacious, earthy, or gently energizing.
The recordings are intentionally short so they can loop as part of your alarm. Use them at a comfortable volume and consider pairing them with a slower morning routine, a few breaths, or a moment of quiet before reaching for your phone.
Mindful Tones are not meant to force a particular state. They are small sonic cues designed to make waking up feel less abrasive and more intentional. The sounds may include chimes, bowls, synthesizers, strings, rainfall, ocean textures, mbira, saz, and other gentle elements.
