Sound Meditation Instructions
Use these instructions as a simple guide for listening to NTM Sound meditation recordings. There is no need to meditate in a formal way. Create a quiet environment, allow the sound to become your point of focus, and let the experience unfold at its own pace.
PREPARING TO LISTEN AND MEDITATE
Switch your phone to airplane mode so there are no distractions (unless you are using an app or link that needs internet access to function).
Do not listen while driving or operating any machinery.
Headphones are recommended for a more focused listening experience. If you are using speakers, allow the sounds in your environment to become part of the meditation — every sound can be included in the listening experience.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position that supports your body. If you wear glasses, you may want to remove them.
BREATHING, IT’S IMPORTANT
After pressing play, begin with a few deep but natural breaths. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth, and begin to connect with your breath’s natural rhythm.
When the sound ends continue connecting to your breath sitting in silence until you’re ready to return to your daily activities.
Whatever thoughts or feelings arise, try to meet them with openness and compassion. When needed, return to the breath and allow the experience to unfold without forcing anything.
